Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd (STEL), in a release, said that it has won its first ever international EPC order.

The company has been awarded an EPC contract valued at Rs.143 crore from Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

To be executed over the next 24 months, the order involves procurement of material equipment, associated accessories and necessary installation services including design, erection, testing and commissioning of 33/11kV substations and 33kV, 11kV and 400V transmission lines and distribution systems in Dang, Rukum East and Baitadi districts of the hilly nation.

Shashank Agarwal from the company’s management team, observed, “This order has enabled us to establish our presence in the exports market and acts as a testimony of confidence placed by the foreign client on STEL’s continuous efforts to design, supply and execute orders in time and while following the best-in-class industry standards.”

It may be recalled that STEL in December 2022 had reported the winning of orders worth Rs.750 crore under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). Read more.
