Salasar Techno wins Rs.170-crore order from RITES

Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd has received a railway electrification order, valued at Rs.170 crore, from RITES Ltd, the company said in a statement.

Salasar said that the order relates to railway electrification of 25kV OHE (overhead electrification) works including TSS (traction substation), general electrification, civil engineering works including tower wagon shed, service buildings, staff quarters, track works, and signaling and telecommunication (S&T) works.

The order will be implemented on an existing track of single-line section of Udaipur city (excluding) and Himmatnagar (excluding) in the Ajmer division of North Western Railway, in Rajasthan. The section length is 210 route km (around 245 track km)

Commenting on the receipt of this order, Shashank Agarwal, Managing Director of Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd said, “RITES is embracing the country’s agenda of modernizing our railways and Salasar is honoured to be a part of it.
