Serentica Renewables selects SANY for supply of wind turbine generators

Serentica Renewables has selected SANY Renewable to supply the wind turbine generators (WTGs) for its 336-MW Wind Project in Karnataka.

In a release, Serentical said that the project feature advanced Sany WTGs, each with a 4 MW rated capacity. The delivery for the project is expected to commence by December 2025. Serentica shortlisted SANY Renewable’s high-performance wind turbines for their superior reliability, efficiency, and capacity to deliver sustained power, the release noted.

SANY Renewable’s portfolio includes major orders crossing 3 GW with key players in India market. Additionally, Sany turbines are already operating successfully in India, demonstrating their operational excellence

 

Reliable energy source for industry

Commenting on the development, Akshay Hiranandani, CEO, Serentica Renewables, said, “Our 336 MW wind project in Karnataka will play a pivotal role in reducing carbon emissions while providing a reliable, renewable energy source to industrial consumers. We are confident that this collaboration with Sany Renewables India will be instrumental in the success of the project and India’s renewable energy goals.”

 

Designed for optimal performance

Commenting on the order, Gaurav Amdekar, COO, SANY Wind Energy India, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Serentica Renewables for this project.
