Sugs Lloyd Ltd has announced the winning of power T&D-related contracts worth Rs.74.35 crore, across Bihar and Odisha.
In a release, Sugs Lloyd said that in Bihar has been entrusted with two critical infrastructure development projects by the North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd (NBPDCL). The flagship contract involves comprehensive turnkey development of five new 33/11kV substations with associated transmission lines in Kishanganj District, a project that seeks to improve electricity reliability for thousands of households and businesses. A parallel contract for 33kV line construction under the O&M Capital Head Scheme will further strengthen the region’s power transmission network.
The company’s expansion in Odisha marks another strategic achievement, with three separate contracts from Tata Power subsidiaries (TPSODL, TPNODL and TPWODL) covering extensive electrical distribution works. These projects encompass new connections, network augmentation, and modernization of power infrastructure across multiple voltage levels.
Sugs Lloyd Ltd operates in the renewable energy sector, with a primary focus on solar energy, power T&D, and civil EPC projects. It provides a wide range of services, including the development of power T&D infrastructure, construction of power substations, and renovation, upgrading, and modification of existing power systems. It also provides solutions for Outage Management Solutions (OMS) using fault passage indicators, auto reclosers, and sectionalizer to various electricity discoms.
Alongside, Sugs Lloyd is seeking to raise capital through its initial public offering (IPO) of 59 lakh equity shares (of face value Rs.10 each). The company has received in-principle approval from BSE SME Exchange in May 2025.
