Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt Ltd (TTDI) has been recognized for its exceptional contribution to India’s export growth.
TTDI has won the prestigious National Award for Outstanding Export Performance by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India) for the financial year 2023-24 in Group 9: Electrical Machinery & Parts – Large Enterprise category, a release from TTDI said.
Shri Piyush Goyal, Honourable Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, presented the award to Mr. Hiroshi Furuta, Chairman and Managing Director, TTDI, and his team. The occasion was also graced by Shri Jitin Prasada, Honourable Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, and Shri Sunil Barthwal, Commerce Secretary, along with senior officials and representatives from EEPC India.
EEPC India’s National Export Awards highlight the global competitiveness of Indian engineering companies, and TTDI is proud to be honoured with this prestigious recognition for the sixth time. Having previously secured the Star Performer Award five times, this milestone stands as a testament to TTDI’s contribution in India’s growing capability to manufacture and export complex, high-value engineering products to developed and emerging markets alike, contributing to India’s economic growth, technology leadership, and green energy transition.
Expressing his gratitude on the recognition, Mr. Hiroshi Furuta, Chairman and Managing Director, TTDI said: “We are deeply honoured to once again receive this prestigious award from EEPC India.
