Waaree RTL clinches solar power EPC deals

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd, in stock exchange notifications, has reported the winning of turnkey EPC orders relating to two solar power projects in India.

Waaree RTL said that it has won letters of award with respect to turnkey EPC contracts for two solar power projects aggregating 304 MWp (DC). The two projects will have capacity of 150 MWp (DC) and 154 MWp (DC), respectively.

The contracts also involve five years of operations & maintenance (O&M) services. Both the projects are scheduled to commission during F24, Waaree RTL said, without giving any further details of the contracts.

In an independent development, Waaree RTL also announced that it has commissioned 70 MW (DC) out of the total 140 MW (DC), as part a turnkey EPC solar power project order that was announced in November 2021. The said solar power plant is located in Gujarat.

IPP projects

Waaree RTL also announced that it will be developing two solar power projects as part of its IPP (independent power producer) portfolio. These two projects aggregating 18.5 MWp will be set up in Maharashtra – 5.5 MWp at Murtizapur and 13 MWp at Yawatmal.

It may be mentioned that Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd was formerly known as Sangam Renewables Ltd.
