“I’m honoured to be leading IEEMA at this time of great change and opportunity for our industry. My focus will be on working together to boost our global competitiveness, promote innovation, and achieve sustainable growth. We will continue to strengthen our focus on policy advocacy and effective government engagements. IEEMA has significantly expanded international outreach over the years, and we will further intensify efforts to explore new markets and work on establishing a trade facilitation centre to help our industry expand into new regions. We will continue to drive initiatives on quality, safety, reliability and startups, while also making new strides towards skilling programs. I am optimistic that with the collective effort of my colleagues in the presidium and the industry at large, we will create opportunities for our industry to scale greater heights.”

(Vikram Gandotra expressed this view on his recent appointment as President, IEEMA, for the 2025-26 term. See related story.)
