Transrail Lighting Ltd has announced the winning of new orders worth Rs.575 crore, primarily in the power T&D segment, which includes an HVDC line contract.

In a release, Transrail Lighting Ltd said that it has won fresh orders worth Rs.575 crore, primarily in the power T&D business, supported by orders in the civil and poles business. The orders include that for building a 500kV HVDC line from an undisclosed customer.

Transrail further holds L1 position of around Rs.400 crore and enjoys a strong bidding pipeline across both domestic and international markets. A robust order book paired with a healthy bidding pipeline reinforces the company’s long-term growth outlook, the release said.

Sustaining the growth moment

Commenting on the order wins, Randeep Narang, MD & CEO, Transrail Lighting Ltd, said, “The Rs.575 crore order wins, which includes primarily the orders in the T&D segment including construction of a 500kV HVDC line for a marquee customer, supply of our products in international markets, specialized civil construction job and pole supplies, highlights our diversified capabilities and competencies. With a very strong unexecuted orderbook and an encouraging bidding pipeline, we are well positioned to sustain the growth momentum while maintaining execution discipline and delivering sustainable margins.”

Order inflow in FY26

Transrail Lighting reported a new order inflow of Rs.8,520 crore with a clear dominance of the power T&D segment. As of March 31, 2026, the company’s order book stood at Rs.16,313 crore as against Rs.14,551 crore, as of March 31, 2025.

The company also completed a major capacity expansion plan during the year, and recently approved further capital expenditure of Rs.203 crore. (Read tndindia.com story dated May 27, 2026)
