Apar Industries: Conductor business enjoys 24 per cent order inflow growth in FY26

The conductor business of Apar Industries saw a year-on-year order inflow growth of 24.2 per cent during FY26.

In an investor presentation, Apar said that the order inflow of the conductor business in FY26 stood at Rs.11,450 crore – up 24.2 per cent from that in FY25.

Production volume of conductors grew 8.6 per cent in FY26 whereas revenue growth was a much sharper 32.7 per cent, indicating higher price realization.

Here are some more highlights across the company’s various business divisions for FY26.

 

Conductors
  • Pending order book, as of March 31, 2026, stood at Rs.7671 crore with exports accounting for 38.9 per cent
  • Revenue from US market in FY26 was up 55.2 per cent, year on year, in value terms
  • Premium product mix (high efficiency conductors) was 45.8 per cent in FY26 as against 40.6 per cent in FY25, in value terms

 

Transformer Oil
  • Transformer oil volume in FY26, at 631985 kilo litres (KL), was 9 per cent higher than 579642 KL in FY25
  • Year-on-year volume growth in the domestic market was 12.2 per cent in FY26 while that for exports was 3.5 per cent
  • Exports accounted for 39.8 per cent of FY26 revenue as against 44 per cent in FY25

 

Cables
  • Overall revenue of cables business in FY26, at Rs.6220 crore, was 25.8 per cent higher than Rs.4945 crore in FY25
  • Domestic cable business revenue in FY26 was 23.6 per cent higher, year on year
  • Revenue from US market appreciated sharply by 46.7 per cent in FY26. Overall, exports accounted for 32.3 per cent of FY26 revenue as against 31.1 per cent in FY25
  • Pending order book, as of March 31, 2026, was around Rs.1,800 crore
