Apar Industries: Conductor business sees 17.5 per cent volume growth in Q1FY26

The conductor business of Apar Industries Ltd witnessed a year-on-year volume growth of 17.5 per cent in Q1 (April to June) of FY26.

In a media release, Apar said that its conductor business clocked sales volume of 57,132 tonnes in Q1FY26 – 17.5 per cent higher than the 48,619 tonnes in Q1FY25.

Here are some other highlights of the company’s Q1FY26 performance:

 

Conductor division
  • Domestic revenue in Q1FY26 was 62.9 per cent than in Q1FY25
  • Premium product mix was 43.5 per cent in Q1FY26 as against 37.1 per cent in Q1FY25. Premium products cover HEC (high-efficiency conductor), copper conductor, optical ground wire (OPGW), and ACCC (aluminium conductor composite core) conductors
  • New order inflow stood at Rs.3,135 crore in Q1FY26
  • Outstanding order book as of June 30, 2025 was Rs.7,779 crore, with exports accounting for 29.6 per cent

 

Cable division
  • Growth in exports contributed to higher revenues in Q1FY26
  • Export revenue was up 69.7 per cent year-on-year in Q1FY26. Domestic business grew 19.7 per cent in Q1FY26, over Q1FY25
  • Exports accounted for 41.3 per cent of revenue in Q1FY26 as against 33.2 per cent in Q1FY25
  • Pending order book was Rs.1,653 crore, as of June 30, 2025
