BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd has received a letter of award (LOA) from Railway Vikas Nigam Ltd, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

This LOA has been received for deployment of 25kV OHE (overhead electrification) gang to complete the residual overhead (OHE) adjustment works and provision of bonding/earthing work and safety-related works in section Sreerampur Assam – Fakiragram of NF Railway. It is expected to be executed over a period of 45 days. The recent order adds to the strong order book position for the company of around Rs. 165 crore. (The value of the current order has not been specified though.)

Commenting on the same, Aparesh Nandi, Chairman said, “We at BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited are pleased to inform our stakeholders on our recent order intake from RVNL. We have already started seeing traction in the order inflow and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months. We expect to end the year on robust order book.”

It may be recalled that BCPL recently completed a major railway electrification project in West Bengal, marking 100 percent electrification of Eastern Railway. (Read more)
