Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has announced the winning of new orders valued at around Rs.75,000 crore in FY26.
In a press release, BHEL said that it secured new orders of around Rs.75,000 crore in FY26, taking the unexecuted order book position to Rs.2.4 lakh crore (trillion), as of March 31, 2026.
In the power sector, BHEL continued to maintain a strong market position with significant order wins of around Rs.59,000 crore during FY26.
The industrial segment, of which power transmission is part, recorded fresh orders of around Rs.16,000 crore across diverse sectors such as transportation, transmission, defence, process industries, and industrial equipment, reflecting the company’s broad-based presence.
On the execution front, BHEL commissioned/synchronised around 8.9 GW of power capacity, demonstrating its continued focus on project delivery and operational efficiency, the release noted.
“With healthy revenue growth, a strong order book, and a sustained execution pipeline, BHEL enters FY27 with solid momentum. The company remains committed to delivering high-impact infrastructure, driving indigenisation, and enhancing stakeholder value,” the release added.
It may be recalled that BHEL had a memorable FY25 with order inflows, at Rs.92,535 crore, touching the highest in any fiscal year. BHEL had an unexecuted order book position of around Rs.1,96,328 crore. The power sector had accounted for 87.9 per cent of the company’s FY25 order inflows and 80.4 per cent of the end-FY25 order book position.
