Bondada Engineering wins solar-cum-BESS EPC order worth over Rs.1,300 crore

Hyderabad-headquartered Bondada Engineering Ltd has announced the winning of an EPC order valued at over Rs.1,300 crore, from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd relating to a solar PV project and battery energy storage system (BESS).

In a regulatory disclosure, Bondada said that the order involves EPC package for development of a 250 MW solar PV project along with 50 MW/200 MWh BESS at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh.

 

To be completed in 18 months from the date of letter of award, the EPC order is valued at Rs.1,338.03 crore. (around Rs.13.38 billion)

 

With this order, Bondada’s solar EPC order book has expanded to around 5.5 GWp, while its BESS order book has increased to 1.1 GWh, the company said.

“The strengthened order book enhances revenue visibility, provides strong execution momentum, and establishes a robust platform for sustainable growth in the years ahead. The project is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the company’s future revenues, profitability, and long-term value creation for shareholders,” the Bondada release noted.
