Bondada Engineering Ltd, part of the Hyderabad-based Bondada Group, has announced the winning of two solar power-related EPC mandates, aggregating over Rs.1,100 crore.

In a stock exchange filing, Bondada Engineering said that it has won two similar orders, valued at Rs,763.16 crore and Rs.369.08 crore, respectively, for setting up ground-mounted solar PV plants in Maharashtra, under the MSKVY 2.0 scheme.

MSKVY 2.0 (Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana 2.0) is a Maharashtra government scheme that seeks to achieve 30 per cent agriculture feeder solarization by 2025.

The scope of the two EPC contracts will cover design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of crystalline ground mounted solar PV power plant under MSKVY 2.0 scheme including 3-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) at 33/11kV across various districts of Maharashtra.

The project sites are to be supplied by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (Mahagenco), the state power generation utility, it is learnt.

The orders are scheduled to commission within 9 months to 1 year from the date of allotment of project land by Mahagenco, the filing said, adding that the stated value of the EPC contracts is inclusive of GST.

It may be mentioned that in September 2024, Bondada had landed a solar power-related order worth Rs.468 crore from KPI Green Energy Ltd for supply of material and erection of a 130 MWp/100 MW(ac) ground-mounted solar PV plant at an undisclosed location.
