ABB’s order inflow grows 19 per cent in 2017
ABB India, in a statement, said that its order inflow in the fourth quarter (October-December) of 2017 grew year-on-year by 44 per cent. Likewise, orders in 2017 as a whole were up 19 per cent.
KEC wins railway orders worth nearly Rs.1,800 crore

The railway business of KEC International Ltd has reported the winning of orders valued at Rs.1,769 crore. These include tripling of railway lines, including laying of tracks, civil engineering, electrification, signalling and telecommunication works, in north and east India.

GE Power lands Rs.818-crore order for hydro-turbines

GE Power India has been awarded a contract worth around Rs.818.3 crore from Navayuga Engineering Company Ltd to design, engineer, manufacture, supply, erect, test and commission 12 units of 80-mw capacity vertical full Kaplan turbine generator units along with all associated auxiliary and ancillary equipment. GE Power India, formerly Alstom India Ltd, announced this in a stock exchange filing.
Transrail wins Rs.904 crore of new orders in H1 of FY18

Transrail Lighting Ltd, a turnkey solutions provider in the power T&D space, has secured new orders worth Rs.904 crore in India and abroad during the six months ending September 2017. The company’s order book as on September 30, 2017 stood at Rs.3,580 crore, Transrail said in a press release.

Kalpataru lands major power transmission orders

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, in a stock exchange filing, announced the receipt of new orders worth Rs.875 crore for construction of transmission lines. The Mumbai-headquartered company said that Rs.278 crore worth of orders related to India, while the remaining Rs.597 crore were for works in Afghanistan, Ivory Coast and Bangladesh. The domestic orders include one from a private power transmission utility.
ABB wins automation and electrical order for Emami cement plant

ABB India has received an order for an automation and electricial system for a 2 milllion tpa greenfield plant in Odisha by Emami Cement, part of the Kolkata-based Emami Group. The solution implemented will minimize energy consumption and enhance the overall plant performance helping the plant support infrastructure growth in the region, a release from ABB said.
Hartek Group wins its first GIS substation project
