The 220kV final charging system comprises of 220 kV double bus with other associated equipment, 160 MVA (220kV/ 66kV) power transformers (four, for refinery block), 100 MVA (220kV/ 66kV) power transformers (two, for petrochemical block) and six 66kV GIS switchboards.

The system is operated through a substation automation system (SAS) from the control room in the substation, the release said.
