GE Vernova T&D India: Order inflows up 57 per cent in Q1FY26

GE Vernova T&D India Ltd has reported a 57 per cent year-on-year growth in new order inflows during Q1 (April to June) of FY26.

New order inflow in Q1FY26 stood at Rs.16,199 million as against Rs.10,290 million in Q1FY25. Domestic orders accounted for 86 per cent of the new order inflows in Q1FY26.

The order backlog as of June 30, 2025 was Rs.129,649 million, dominated by private sector entities with a share of 65 per cent.

 

New orders

New order wins in Q1FY26 included:

  • Multiple orders from private TBCB developers for supply of 765kV transformers and reactors in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
  • Order for supply of 420kV GIS from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd in Madhya Pradesh
  • Order for supply of 420/245kV GIS from a private EPC player in Maharashtra
  • Multiple orders for supply of 765kV AIS equipment and grid automation packages from EPC players.
  • Multiple orders for export of AIS/GIS equipment to Europe, South-East Asia, Middle East and Africa.

 

Projects commissioned

During Q1FY26, GE Vernova T&D India commissioned 765kV AIS and 400kV GIS bay and added 500 MVA transformation capacity for PGCIL in Kotra in Uttar Pradesh. The company also commissioned 765kV GIS bays and added 1500 MVA ICT and 330 MVAR reactor for Adani at Khavda in Gujarat.

 

Productive first quarter

According to Sandeep Zanzaria, Managing Director & CEO of GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, “We delivered a strong and productive first quarter of FY 2025-26, driven by continued momentum as India modernizes its grid to improve reliability, accommodate renewable energy sources, and meet increasing electricity demands from various sectors. We have been disciplined in taking profitable orders with better margins and expect to continue on this trajectory.”
