GE Vernova T&D India reports Rs.1,137-crore order booking in Q1FY27

GE Vernova T&D India Ltd has reported new order inflows of Rs.1,137 crore in the first quarter (Q1: April to June) of FY27.  These were, however, 30 per cent lower than the comparable Rs.1,620 crore in Q1FY26.

The order backlog, as of June 30, 2026, at around Rs.20,930 crore was marginally lower than Rs.21,460 crore, as of the same date in 2025.

Around 77 per cent of the company’s order backlog as of June 30, 2026 was from private clients. Central utilities and public sector entities accounted for 21 per cent, followed by state utilities with a share of 2 per cent.

 

Key order wins in Q1FY27
  • Supply of CTs and CVTs from GE Grid Renewable LLC for North America (multiple orders)
  • Supply of 400 kV GIS from GE Grid Solutions, S.A. for Spain.
  • Order for 150 MVA 245kV transformer from a leading semiconductor player
  • Multiple orders for supply of Grid Automation packages from state utilities, EPCs and data centers
  • Supply of 400kV GIS from GE Grid Solutions, Middle East for Morocco
  • Multiple orders for 765kV/400kV AIS equipment from multiple EPC players
  • Multiple orders for export of AIS/GIS equipment to North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa

 

Project commissioning in Q1FY27
  • 400kV bays for Adani KPS-3 and RTM package at Khavda, Gujarat
  • 400kV and 220kV GIS bays with power transformers for NEA Khimti Site in Nepal
  • 275 MVA, 765kV single-phase generator transformer for UPRVUNL, Ghatampur project
  • 765kV and 400kV shunt reactors for multiple locations of PGCIL and Resonia
  • GIS bays for Renew Power and DVC at Chandrapura thermal power station in Jharkhand
