Jakson Green Infinity has shipped 3.8 MW electrolysers, to power India’s inaugural green hydrogen refueling station for urban mobility in the National Capital Region (NCR)

In a release, Jakson Green INFINITY, the electrolyser manufacturing arm of Jakson Green, announced that it has successfully shipped its first batch of 3.8-MW electrolysers, which will be deployed further to power India’s inaugural green hydrogen refueling station for urban mobility in National Capital Region (NCR).

This achievement marks a pivotal moment in company’s commitment to driving the adoption of green hydrogen in India. Electrolyser technology, manufactured at its state-of-the-art facility in Greater Noida, will play a crucial role in producing clean, hydrogen fuel for vehicles and various other green applications. The imported electrolyser stack was integrated with the Balance of Plant components which were indigenously designed, engineered, and manufactured at the greater Noida facility. This strategic approach not only strengthens the domestic supply chain through high local value addition factor but also ensures optimal system integration and performance.

“We are thrilled to be at the forefront of India’s green hydrogen revolution,” said Bikesh Ogra, MD & CEO at Jakson Green. “The project is expected to significantly contribute towards propelling India’s low carbon journey. Our project reinforces hydrogen’s crucial role as a new energy transition fuel, reducing India’s dependence on imported crude oil and minimizing pollution. This sets us apart as a pioneering player in electrolyser manufacturing, and we remain committed to building infrastructure that promotes hydrogen-fueled vehicles.”

Bhaskar Bose, Head – Manufacturing from Jakson Green INFINITY, said, “Our unwavering focus on safety, quality, and superior technology has been instrumental in our success as a pioneer in India’s burgeoning electrolyser manufacturing industry. Given the novelty of this technology in India, we faced unique challenges in establishing efficient in-house operations. However, through meticulous planning, rigorous testing, and the dedication of our skilled team, we have overcome these hurdles and delivered electrolysers that meet the highest industry standards.”

Jakson Green INFINITY’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has a current capacity of 300 MW, enabling the company to meet the increasing demand for electrolysers in the Indian market. The company is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity and introduce new technologies to further strengthen its position as a leader in the green hydrogen industry.
