Kalpataru Projects International reports 10 per cent growth in power T&D revenue

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) announced a 10 per cent growth in consolidated revenue from its power T&D business – from Rs.2,655 crore in Q1FY26 to Rs.2,924 crore in Q1FY27.
Power T&D revenue growth was led by healthy execution and robust order backlog despite supply chain constraints in international markets, an investor presentation by KPIL said.
The business revenue mentioned above excludes that of its Brazilian subsidiary Fasttel, which, it may be recalled, closed all its projects and reported nil order book as of March 31, 2026. KPIL, on March 5, 2026, had submitted an application for “Judicial Reorganization” before the competent authority in Brazil.
Order inflows
KPIL’s cumulative order inflows during FY27 – from April 1, 2026 to around August 11, 2026 – stood at Rs.7,668 crore with power T&D representing a share of 54 per cent, or Rs.4,163 crore. Besides, KPIL was favourably placed in T&D orders worth over Rs.5,000 crore.
The building & factories (B&F) segment came next in order with a share of 37 per cent in KPIL’s cumulative order inflows in FY27.
Order book
As of June 30, 2026, KPIL had an outstanding order book of Rs.66,607 crore, in which power T&D had a share of Rs.29,609 crore, or 44 per cent. KPIL’s Swedish subsidiary LMG reported an outstanding order book of Rs.4,266 crore (This is included in the power T&D order book of Rs.29,609 crore). Meanwhile, LMG’s revenues grew 8 per cent to reach Rs.833 crore in Q1FY27.
Strong beginning to FY27
