KEC International Ltd, in a release, announced that it has won new orders, aggregating Rs.937 crore, across its various businesses.

The power T&D business secured orders worth Rs.418 crore for projects in India, Middle East and the Americas.

The railways business, a relatively new area for KEC, bagged mandates valued at Rs.294 crore. The orders included overhead electrification and associated works. There was also an order for 2x25kV overhead electrification and associated works for a semi high-speed rail project.

The civil business has secured an order of Rs. 135 crore for infra works in the metals and mining segment in India, while the cables business won domestic and overseas orders, valued at Rs.90 crore.

Commenting on the new orders, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd, said, “We are pleased with the new order wins amidst global upheavals. The substation order in Middle East along with the transmission line orders secured last year, have significantly enhanced our order book in that region. The orders in railways, further strengthen our leadership in the conventional Railway segment. The order in the civil business reaffirms our confidence in the strong growth of this business going forward.”
