The power T&D business vertical of KEC International Ltd accounted for 57 per cent of the cumulative new order inflows in FY27.
In an investor presentation, KEC International Ltd said that company’s new order inflows during the period April 1, 2026 to around August 10, 2026 were Rs.6,303 crore out of which power T&D had a share of 57 per cent (or roughly Rs.3,600 crore).
Of the power T&D orders, around 47 per cent represented supply orders bagged by KEC’s overseas subsidiary SAE Towers.
In the overall order inflow, domestic orders accounted for 65 per cent, and international mandates, 35 per cent.
While the power T&D dominated order inflows with a 57 per cent, the remaining was distributed among various verticals – civil (15 per cent), cables & conductors (12 per cent), renewables (12 per cent) and transportation (4 per cent).
KEC’s unexecuted order book currently stands at Rs.37,697 crore, with power T&D wielding a 62 per cent share. Including L1 positions, the order book is over Rs.40,000 crore. KEC has estimated that tenders under evaluation and in the pipeline represent a business opportunity of over Rs.2,00,000 crore (Rs.2 trillion).
Commenting on the company’s performance, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Ltd, said, “While certain near-term challenges persist, we believe they are largely transitory. With supply chains gradually normalising, labour availability improving, an order book and L1 position of over Rs.40,000 crore, a robust tender pipeline exceeding Rs.2 lakh crore, and strong opportunities across both domestic and international markets, we remain confident of delivering stronger execution and improved financial performance in the coming quarters.”
