KONE India has launched its new elevator offering “KONE U Mono Space” and “KONE U Mini Space” for the mid-range segment.

The new elevators are up to 35 per cent more energy efficient that its predecessors, a KONE India release observed. The improvements were made possible by the renewed KONE EcoDisc hoisting machine, a highly efficient drive and enhanced standby solutions.

The renewed hoisting machine is complemented by a wide range of upgrades that are designed to deliver ride comfort, a new motor control system, a renewed braking system, a redesigned hoisting system, and an improved car structure. This has resulted in noise levels—both inside and outside the elevator cars—are as low as possible, the KONE India release said. Further, the ride smooth and without vibration, and the floor leveling is accurate.

KONE India also said that it now conducts a comprehensive test for ride comfort on every KONE elevator before it is handed over to the customer.

According to Amit Gossain, MD, KONE India, “Construction and real estate customers are demanding when it comes to energy efficiency and green building certification. With our new solutions, the carbon footprint of buildings can be cut to an even greater extent.”
