Pace Digitek Ltd has received a letter of intent from BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL) for the development of a 57.5 MW/115 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Delhi.
The project will be developed under a 12-year build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) model, with a project capital outlay of around Rs.179.4 crore. The project is scheduled to be executed within seven months.
Under the long-term battery energy storage service agreement (BESSA), Pace Digitek will receive a fixed capacity tariff of Rs.47.05 lakh per MW per year, translating into annual contracted capacity revenue of Rs.27.1 crore.
The award marks Pace Digitek’s fifth major utility-scale BOO/BOOT storage project, further strengthening its portfolio of long-term contracted energy infrastructure assets. With the addition of the BSES project, the company’s utility-scale BOO/BOOT portfolio has increased to 3.32 GWh, Pace Digitek said in a release.
The BSES award adds to Pace Digitek Group’s recent BESS wins, including the Rs.488.60-crore order from NTPC GE Power Services Pvt Ltd (NGSL) for supply of standalone BESS along with AMC and warranty services, secured in September 2026.
Pace Digitek has been progressively building capabilities across the energy storage value chain, spanning BESS manufacturing, system integration, equipment supply, EPC execution and long-term ownership and operation of storage assets, the release noted.
The energy-related order book of Pace Digitek comprises a diversified portfolio of BOO, EPC and supply projects, with utility-scale BESS becoming an increasingly important part of the business. Since the end of Q1FY27, the Pace Digitek Group has secured Rs.761 crore of additional orders across products and projects, the release added.
