Polycab India: Wire & cable business grows 35 per cent in 9MFY26

Polycab India Ltd recorded a 35 per cent year-on-year growth in its wire & cable (W&C) business during the first nine months (9M: April to December) of FY26.

In a release, Polycab said that the W&C business revenues grew 35 per cent year-on-year to Rs.1,75,054 million from Rs.1,29,680 million in 9MFY25 with strong growth across both distribution and institutional businesses. The International business contributed 5.9 per cent of the consolidated revenue.

The W&C segment delivered 53 per cent year-on-year growth for Q3FY26 (October to December), driven by exceptional domestic performance with 59 per cent growth, supported by robust demand and sustained commodity price inflation.

Polycab India’s EPC business reported revenues of Rs.4,069 million in Q3FY26, a 4 per cent year-on-year increase. However, the EPC business The EPC business registered a 12 per cent year-on-year decline.

 

Record-breaking quarter

According to Inder T. Jaisinghani, Chairman & Managing Director, Polycab India Ltd, “Q3 marked a record-breaking quarter for the Company, with revenues at an all-time high, driven by strong execution in the W&C business and sustained momentum in the FMEG segment. The domestic business delivered exceptional performance, reflecting robust demand conditions and continued market share gains. Execution discipline under Project Spring is translating into consistent outperformance, while early signs of revival in private capex provide further confidence in our growth outlook.”
