Polycab India Ltd marked this year’s Electricians’ Day, which falls on June 10, with a large-scale nationwide outreach, engaging over 10,000 electricians and their families across multiple cities.

A company release said that Polycab’s Electricians’ Day 2026 evolved into a nationwide movement; spotlighting electricians as the backbone of India’s electrical ecosystem, celebrating their pride and dignity, and underscoring their vital role in enabling safe, reliable living for millions of consumers.

Polycab brought consumer attention to the contribution of electricians; positioning them as ‘Electrical Safety Experts’ who play a critical role in everyday life. This was amplified through a social media film encouraging consumers to acknowledge and thank electricians for enabling safe homes and workplaces.

On-ground, Polycab engaged with 10,000+ electricians across 900+ locations. At the heart of these celebrations were ‘Samman Samaroh’ ceremonies across multiple cities, bringing together electricians and their families through recognition, leadership interactions, and community-led celebrations reinforcing Polycab’s belief that electricians are not just service providers, but Partners for Life.

Polycab also conducted healthcare camps with Agilus Diagnostics, offering preventive health check-ups to their Electrician Safety Experts, apart from organizing hyperlocal community celebrations.

Partners for Life

Commenting on the initiative, Ishwinder Singh Khurana, CEO – B2C, Polycab India Limited, said: “India’s growth story is powered by millions of electricians whose skill, dedication, and commitment to safety bring every connection to life. At Polycab, we see them as our Partners for Life – central to our vision of building safe, reliable electrical ecosystems. Through our sustained engagement and the Polycab Experts Program, we are committed not just to recognising their contribution, but to enabling their growth, strengthening capabilities, improving safety awareness, and supporting their long-term growth. As we grow, we remain deeply invested in ensuring that our partners grow with us; together building a future defined by trust, dignity, and shared progress.”

At the heart of growth

Anchored in its purpose of ‘Connection Zindagi Ka’, Polycab continues to place electricians at the heart of its growth, recognising their contribution while consistently enabling their progress as partners in building a safer, electrified India, the Polycab release added.
