PTC India appoints Mhaske as independent director

PTC India Ltd has announced the appointment of Prakash S. Mhaske as the company’s independent director.

In a release, PTC India said that the appointment takes effect from January 16, 2023. The appointment will be for a period of three years and would be subject to approval of shareholders.

Prakash Mhaske is a power sector veteran and recently retired as Chairman, Central Electricity Authority.

Commenting on the new appointment, Dr. Rajib K Mishra, CMD (addl. charge), PTC India Limited, observed, “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Mhaske to the board of PTC India. He is a nationally and globally respected Power Sector Expert and his deep and diverse experience in the areas of Power System will be of great value to the company.”
