Relicab Cable gets manufacturer approval for control cables

Relicab Cable Manufacturing Ltd has received “manufacturer approval” for the supply of interconnecting control cables.

In a stock exchange notification, Relicab said that it has received this approval from CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd, Nashik, for the supply of interconnecting control cables (FRLS armoured/unarmoured/screened copper control cable of 1.5/2.5 sqmm) for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) projects up to 765kV.

 

The approval is valid until November 13, 2025, based on compliance with PGCIL specifications and project requirements, as assessed by CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd, the notification said.

 

As per the approval letter, Relicab Cable Manufacturing Ltd will adhere to all requirements, including:

  1. Compliance with PGCIL specifications/approved drawings/standards and type tests
  2. Implementation of quality improvements such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
  3. Enhanced IT-enabled systems for inventory management, billing, and traceability

 

“This recognition is a testament to the quality and reliability of our products and strengthens our position as a trusted supplier in the industry,” the Relicab notification added.
