Global headwinds

Commenting on the company’s performance, Sunil Mathur, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Ltd, said, “The strong performance was across all our businesses and included a significant order in our mobility business. While we are currently not experiencing a slowing down in public and private capex spending, we are concerned about global headwinds impacting demand which could result in a slowdown in capex spending.”

Note: The accounting year of Siemens Ltd runs from October to September. The period from March 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 therefore represents the third quarter of the accounting year, which ends on September 30, 2022.
