Solaryaan launches battery energy storage system for C&I sector

Emerging clean energy technology company Solaryaan has launched its battery energy storage system (BESS), catering to the commercial & industrial (C&I) sector.

In a release, Solaryaan said that its 125 kW/241 kWh commercial and industrial battery energy storage system (BESS) was launched at the recently-concluded REV Expo 2026.

The launch represents an important milestone in Solaryaan’s journey from a solar inverter-focused company to an integrated clean energy solutions provider. It is part of the company’s “Solaryaan 2.0 – Energy Independence Series,” focused on enabling consumers and businesses to gain greater control over how energy is generated, stored and consumed, the release added.

Solaryaan’s C&I BESS enables businesses to store surplus electricity generated through solar systems or drawn from the grid and deploy it when it is needed most. With operating modes such as peak shaving, load-shedding support, PV-storage energy management and frequency regulation, the system can help commercial and industrial users optimise energy consumption, manage peak demand and improve power reliability.

By providing stored power during outages or high-demand periods, the solution can also help businesses reduce their dependence on diesel-based backup systems. Remote monitoring through Solaryaan Cloud, supported by Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G connectivity, enables users to monitor system performance and manage energy usage more effectively, the release added.
