Sterlite Power launches two new corporate brand identities — “Resonia” and “Sterlite”

Sterlite Power has unveiled two new corporate brand identities called “Resonia” and “Sterlite”. The rebranding exercise was announced at ELECRAMA 2025.
Resonia Ltd will house the transmission infrastructure business and will be called ‘Resonia’. Expansion of transmission networks, facilitating renewable energy integration, will be driven by Resonia.
Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd will house the manufacturing of cables and conductors and, services business, it will be called ‘Sterlite’. Sterlite will lead the manufacturing of high-performance power conductors, cables, and EPC services.
The decision to create two distinct corporate entities comes on the back of the demerger. Resonia and Sterlite will now focus on their distinct businesses, bring agility and, create independent growth journeys, a release from Sterlite Power said.
Brand logos
The new brand logos embody the essence of the businesses. Resonia’s logo, inspired by resonance, symbolizes innovation and harmony, with the ‘I’ merging into a human figure to reflect unity and empathy. The Sterlite logo retains the original strokes and design, leveraging its strong market presence, while preserving the legacy and expertise in transmission industry solutions.
Pivotal moment
According to Pratik Agarwal, Managing Director, Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd, and Chairman Resonia Ltd. said, “This transformation is a pivotal moment in our journey. With Resonia and Sterlite, we are creatinga specializing, reinforcing our market leadership, and fostering innovation in the industry. With a clear emphasis on specific market segments, both entities are well-positioned to seize new opportunities and tackle the challenges presented by the global energy transition.”
Evolution of Resonia Ltd
Here is a chronology of events leading up to the formation of Resonia Ltd, compiled by T&D India:
- October 2024: Sterlite Power carves out infrastructure (power transmission development) business of Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd and houses it under a new entity “Sterlite Grid5 Ltd”
- January 2025: A new platform “Sterlite Grid32 Ltd” is created as a joint venture between Sterlite Grid5 Ltd and GIC of Singapore to carry out power transmission business in India.
- February 2025: “Sterlite Grid32 Ltd” is renamed to “Resonia Ltd”
Resonia’s portfolio
Resonia Ltd has a portfolio in India comprising 20 completed and under construction power transmission projects spanning Rajasthan, Gujarat, UT of J&K, Karnataka, Haryana, Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala. The total portfolio covers a network of around 11,495 ckm of transmission lines with envisaged aggregate capital expenditure of Rs.26,724 crore, as of FY24, the release said. According to information available with T&D India, these 20 projects include completed ones that have been since transferred to IndiGrid.
