Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) has launched an exclusive scheme for its consumers on super efficient BLDC ceiling fans, in collaboration with Halonix.

BLDC ceiling fans use brushless direct current (BLDC) motors and are much more energy-efficient than conventional (non 5-star rated) ceiling fans.

With this, Tata Power-DDL has added another energy efficient product to its existing product portfolio of LED bulbs, LED tubelights, ELCBs and air-conditioners.

The company aims to promote the usage of energy efficient products among its consumer base which will result in energy saving and reduction in electricity bills. Tata Power DDL caters to a population of around 7 million, spread over north Delhi.

Tata Power DDL is offering these fans exclusively to its consumers at Rs.2,275 per unit, which is a 40 per cent discount over the MRP of Rs.3,800 per unit.

Commenting on the launch, Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO, Tata Power-DDL said, “We at Tata Power-DDL have always been the front-runners in introducing and promoting energy efficient and safe solutions among our consumers. In continuation of these efforts, we have launched super-efficient ceiling fan program in association with Halonix, exclusively for our consumers. Adoption of energy efficient products will result in substantial saving of energy, so I urge our consumers to avail this scheme in large numbers.”

Special features

The new fan range from Halonix called “Plasma BLDC Ceiling Fan” comes with a special feature through which the fan consumes lower electricity as compared to normal fan. These fans with their unique zero-friction technology saves up to 70 per cent electricity and enhances the durability by two times. The fan comes with a smart remote control as well as a 0.5-W in-built LED lamp.
