Torrent Power incorporates new subsidiaries

Over the past few days, Torrent Power has incorporated three new wholly-owned subsidiaries that will be engaged in the renewable energy generation business.

In three independent stock exchange filings over the past few days, Torrent Power said that it has incorporated three new wholly-owned subsidiaries that will be engaged in the renewable energy generation business.

 

The three subsidiaries are:

  • Torrent Urja 10 Private Limited (TU10)
  • Torrent Urja 11 Private Limited (TU11)
  • Torrent Urja 12 Private Limited (TU12)

These subsidiaries were incorporated on April 21, April 20, and April 18, respectively. They have all been registered with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Each of TU10, TU11, and TU12 has been incorporated with the object to carry on the business of generation, transmission, distribution, purchase, procurement, sale, trading, import, export or otherwise deal in all forms of electrical power and energy including non-conventional and renewable sources of energy, Torrent Power said.
