Domestic power electronics company Zenergize has unveiled its new 15kW three-phase grid-tied solar inverter

In a release, Zenergize said that launch marks an expansion of its solar portfolio into higher-capacity residential and small commercial applications after the great success in the residential area. The product was unveiled at Infineon Technologies’ annual OktoberTech event in Bengaluru, where Zenergize was also announced as an Infineon partner, a release by Zenergize said.

The new 15kW offering builds on Zenergize’s 3kW and 5kW SiC-based solar inverters, including deployments under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. With the addition of the higher-capacity inverter, Zenergize is extending its offering to larger homes, villas, institutions and small commercial establishments with higher power requirements.

Designed for Indian grid and climatic conditions, the new inverter delivers up to 98.5% maximum efficiency and 98.2 per cent conversion efficiency. It supports a maximum PV power input of 20kWp and features three MPPT trackers, allowing greater flexibility in solar system design. The inverter has an operating temperature range of -25°C to 55°C and comes with IP65 protection and integrated electrical and grid-safety features.

Zenergize’s second-generation inverter platform uses Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, which enables lower power losses, improved thermal performance and greater efficiency in demanding operating conditions.

With the latest launch, Zenergize continues to expand its indigenous power-electronics portfolio across solar energy and electric mobility, with a focus on locally engineered and manufactured products for India’s energy infrastructure.

The launch also marks a strengthening of Zenergize’s technology ecosystem through its partnership with Infineon Technologies,  the release added.
