The unexecuted order book of Atlanta Electricals Ltd, as of March 31, 2026, was close to Rs.2,500 crore, bolstered by significant order inflow in the fourth quarter(Q4: January to March) of FY26.

In a release, Atlanta Electricals said that its outstanding order book, as of March 31, 2026, stood at Rs.2,493 crore, with order inflows in Q4FY26 amounting to Rs.733 crore.

The order book was more towards higher voltage class transformers, the release observed. Around 52 per cent of the order book related to 220kV transformers with another 11 per cent pertaining to the 400kV class.

Q4FY26 order inflow

The Q4FY26 order inflow of Rs.733 crore saw marquee orders such as the Rs.288-mandate from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) for 13 transformers and 11 associated fire-protection systems.

Defining year

According to Niral Patel, Chairman & Managing Director, Atlanta Electricals Ltd, “FY26 has been a defining year for Atlanta Electricals, our first full financial year ending after our listing on the BSE and NSE on September 29, 2025. The 18 months of intensive capacity build-out has translated into delivery and growth, with our installed manufacturing capacity now at 63,060 MVA across our five facilities.

The standout milestone of the year was receiving the PGCIL approval for manufacturing of up to 400kV class transformers at our Vadod facility, achieved within just two years of groundbreaking, among the fastest such timelines in the Indian transformer industry.

Looking ahead to FY27, our priorities are to prototype the first 400kV transformer at Vadod and 765kV at Atlanta Trafo, scale exports, capture domestic demand from BESS, data centers and renewables, commence operations at our new inverter duty transformer facility, and start our tank and radiator backward integration plant. With Rs.9 trillion of transmission investment planned through 2032, Atlanta Electricals is well-positioned to capture this multi-year growth opportunity.”

Revenue distribution

The FY26 revenue of Atlanta Electricals was dominated by power transformers wielding a share of 86 per cent, up from 75 per cent in FY25. Auto transformers followed with 8 per cent (FY25: 11 per cent). Consolidated FY26 revenue stood at around Rs.1852 crore, growing nearly 49 per cent from the FY25 level.

Capacity utilization

In FY26, legacy facilities operated at high capacity utilization, while Vadod (Unit 4) ramped up to approximately 39 per cent annualized utilization and Atlanta Trafo (Unit 5) reached approximately 15 per cent annualized utilization, the release noted.

The Vadod (Unit 4) facility is the latest greenfield manufacturing plant of Atlanta Electricals that was commissioned in July 2025. The Jambusar (Unit 5) facility was earlier owned by BTW Atlanta Transformers Pvt Ltd – a 90:10 JV between Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co (BTW) of China and Atlanta Electricals Ltd.  AEL acquired full ownership of the joint venture in April 2025. Unit 5 is now owned by Atlanta Trafo Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlanta Electricals Ltd.

Atlanta Electricals currently has manufacturing capacity of 63,063 MVA, spread across five locations – four in Gujarat and one in Karnataka (See table).
