Bajel Projects Ltd has reported an outstanding order book of Rs.3,442 crore as of March 31, 2026, evincing a 15 per cent growth over the corresponding Rs.2,984 crore on the same date in 2025.
In an investor presentation, Bajel Projects said that its outstanding order book as of March 31, 2026, excluding supply order, was Rs.3,442 crore, dominated by the power transmission sector to the extent of 96 per cent.
During FY26, Bajel Projects commissioned 17 power transmission projects (on EPC basis) with an aggregate length of 1,168 ckm. This, according to the company’s investor presentation, was roughly 10 per cent of the transmission lines commissioned in India during the year.
Defining year
According to Rajesh Ganesh, MD & CEO, Bajel Projects Ltd, “FY26 has been a defining year for Bajel, made even more special as we mark 100 years of the Bajaj Group — a century of trust, enterprise, and nation-building that we are proud to carry forward. Coupled with landmark domestic wins including the MSETCL ultra-mega order, Mandsaur and Vindhyachal Pool projects, our entry into Saudi Arabia through the Al Sharif joint venture, and the collaboration agreement with NIIF, the year sets a strong foundation for sustainable, profitable growth across all our businesses”.
FY27 update
The company has also reported the winning of several large orders in the current year FY27 so far, which is April 1, 2026 to around May 27, 2026. These include a Rs.300 crore-plus order for constructing a 400kV line under the Bellary–Davanagere RE evacuation scheme, and a similar-sized order from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) for its intrastate scheme in Maharashtra. Significantly, Bajel Projects recently secured its first major order (valued at over Rs.400 crore) in the MENA region for building a 500kV overhead transmission line.
Ranjangaon plant
Bajel Projects has outlined capital expenditure of Rs.170 crore aimed at increasing the galvanization capacity of its manufacturing plant at Ranjangaon in Maharashtra, to 1.1 lakh tonnes per year.
Located in Pune district, the Ranjangaon plant specializes in transmission line towers, monopoles, high masts, lighting poles, and other structures. The facility is supported by a fully enclosed galvanizing unit serving both in-house needs and third-party clients.
Incidentally, the facility recorded production of 56,514 tonnes during FY26, making it the highest-ever in any financial year, according to the company’s investor presentation.
