Om Power Transmission Ltd (OPTL) has received two new mandates placed by state utility Gujarat Energy Transmission Company Ltd (GETCO).

In stock exchange disclosures, OPTL said that it has received two orders, together valued at around Rs.130 crore (inclusive of GST), from GETCO.

The larger of the two orders, valued at Rs.69.19 crore, relates to supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the 220kV double-circuit Prantij-Jantral line (Package 2). The turnkey order is scheduled to commission in 24 months from the date of letter of award (LoA), OPTL said.

The second order, worth Rs.60.48 crore, is for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 220kV and 66kV equipment and material associated with the 220kV Kotda-Sangani AIS substation.  The contract also includes civil works, the filing by OPTCL said, adding that the order is expected to commission in 18 months from the LoA date.

According to information previously disseminated by Om Power Transmission, the company recently won at least two orders from GETCO. These related to laying of 66kV underground cables, and turnkey works associated with the 220kV Jantral AIS substation.

Subsidiary company

In another development, Om Power Transmission Ltd, on October 5, 2026, incorporated a subsidiary “OPTL Green Energy Pvt Ltd,” in which OPTL will have 56 per cent equity shareholding. The subsidiary company shall, inter alia, engage in the business of developing, owning, constructing, operating, maintaining and implementing renewable energy projects, including but not limited to solar, wind, hybrid, hydro, biomass, energy storage and other renewable energy technologies, OPTL said in a regulatory disclosure.
