Yash Highvoltage Ltd is on track to commission its greenfield transformer bushings facility at Jarod in Gujarat during the third quarter (Q3: October to December) of FY27, its top official said.
In a release, Keyur Shah, Managing Director, Yash Highvoltage, said, “Looking ahead, we are on track to commission end-to-end manufacturing of resin-impregnated paper (RIP) and resin-impregnated synthetic (RIS) bushings at our new greenfield facility in Jarod during Q3 of the current financial year. This expansion is expected to further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, broaden our product offerings, improve cost efficiencies and support our ability to address evolving customer requirements.”
During the first half (H1: April to September), Yash Highvoltage, through Yash HV USA Inc, reached representation agreement with Ensales Electrical Associates, Inc and Gateway Power Sales – covering 22 US states.
Yash also tested its first 245kV wall-through transformer bushing, and supplied it to a premier public sector undertaking. This was a landmark in technical capability and has strengthened the company’s wall-through bushings product range, the release said.
Significantly, Yash also became the first Indian OEM and amongst select few distinguished global OEMs to have completed stringent seismic qualification testing of IEEE-compliant 138kV and 230kV OIP (oil impregnated paper) condenser transformer bushings, ready to serve customers in seismically active regions of the US.
Commenting on the company’s performance, Keyur Shah, noted, “The first half of the current financial year marked a significant period for Yash Highvoltage, characterized by strong financial performance, progress in international market expansion and continued enhancement of our product capabilities.”
“The industry outlook remains encouraging, supported by sustained investments in transmission and distribution infrastructure, renewable energy integration, grid modernisation and electrification initiatives across India and the global markets. Backed by our expanding product capabilities, planned capacity additions and a growing international presence, we are well positioned to capitalize on the emerging opportunities in the power infrastructure space and creating a strong foundation for sustainable and long-term value for our shareholders.”
